17.1.05 [ This Page Needs a Better Title ] 1 comments

After some consideration, I have decided that it is not such a good idea to include this web log on my resume: way too scattered, and at times even personal (as cold and apathetic as I am, I think there's some feelings somewhere around here).

And yes, the new title has definately been used by someone else already; but he's dead.

I am applying for some jobs. Many of the ones I've looked at so far require me to have some adequate writing skills. So, for better or for worse, I have included this page on my resumes.

At any rate, I think it needs a new title. Something catchy and chic, but not overly pretentious. I must have rattled through hundreds of new ones by now, none of them seem up to par. Carousing the blogsphere for title ideas was an exercise in futility: all the good ones are taken.

My criteria:
  • Must convey informality;

  • Must implicitly address communication;

  • Must be somewhat professional sounding;

  • ...but not presumptuous

  • Must have some sort of relationship to what I post here; which is tough since I usually just post whatever's on my mind when I happen to be at the keyboard

  • And, I must delete this post by , otherwise that might be awkward for a potential employer
