Why, in practicality, is aggression the most effective approach to political problems? I wish that logic and rationality were higher virtues. But, it seems people listen more attentively to the low rublings of rage than to the cold banter of reason.
I fear an eulogy must be written. Not today, but soon. The greatest sadness, of course, results from the death of untainted innocence. However, learned experience whose time of passing has come is still deserving of moments of quite nostalgia.
Instead, I shall make a toast: May the future be what we make of it; may memory forever be clear an precise; may we never be too old to learn.
May the wish of communityism not grow stale.
